SELASSIEISTATION Is an internet radio station based in the UK. Our objective is to bring clusters of communities together individually and/or as one large community. We believe the benefits of being an Internet based is having the ability to reach people far and wide, across continents as opposed to conventional radio settings. SELASSIEISTATION is also providing the perfect vehicle for addressing the gap that many other stations fail to provide. We Raise the Awareness of the contributions of foundation and pioneer artists and personalities of reggae music, as well as upcoming artists that would not have a chance to be heard or those that dont get as much radio airplay as they should. Not just in the different music spanning decades (not concentrating on just new releases) we don’t just play music. We’re here to entertain, educate, inform and connect both young and older listeners will find something that resonates with them. We create a relaxed, creative environment that brings the hosts and the listeners together creating that perfect oneness. We pride ourselves on being unique in these goals and in this aim. SELASSIEISTATION was founded in 2016 by Reggae Middlesbrough & Farda Concious. Reggae Middlesbrough & Farda Concious have been on 3 other radio stations together over the past few years bringing forward exclusive interviews by outer national Artists who have never been heard before in the UK. We are dedicated to Promoting both established and up and coming conscious Artists with a view to spreading a positive message through reggae Music to the globe. Our Mission Statement: We are a non- profit radio station that works tirelessly, creatively and positively. Through independent music. We work towards breaking down barriers within the community. We play independent music and act as a platform for DJs, producers and presenters who otherwise would struggle to break into the industry.
